PFAS free waterproofing
The Bronte Jacket is the first jacket in the world to have a plant based water proof membrane! It features a the Bio-Alloy Shield™, a membrane that merges bio-engineered polymers with natural materials for breathable, waterproof protection.
Developed by Modern Meadow, this membrane is completely free of PFAS and PFCs, eliminating harmful chemicals often found in conventional waterproof fabrics. It's lightweight and breathable, keeping you comfortable in any weather conditions, while making a significant step forward in sustainable garment technology.
Tapeless Zippers
Another world-first in the Bronte Jacket is the zipper, sewn directly into the fabric. Unlike conventional zippers that rely on synthetic tape, this tapeless design reduces material use while enhancing durability and streamlining the jacket’s form. The zipper is also made from recycled plastic. This is the first jacket in the world to use this zipper technology, proving that small things can make a big difference.
100% Recycled Nylon
The Bronte Jacket’s fabric is crafted from 100% recycled nylon, reflecting Earthletica’s commitment to reducing virgin (unrecycled) fibres in our clothing.
