FAQs
Sizing
What size am I?
We’ve been asking ourselves this same question for years. Based on the guide provided, we recommend using a tape measure to guide your purchase. If you’re between sizes (tricky) try sizing down for added compression or sizing up if you prefer a more comfortable fit.
Do all your sizes fit similarly?
Our sizes are consistent, but some fabrics may feel a little more compressive than others.
We try to paint the picture for you in our product descriptions using the phrases ‘compress’ and ‘natural’ when referring to the fit.
I ordered the wrong size, what now?
No dramas. If you ordered the wrong size, you can return your set to us unworn within 30-days of purchase and we’ll swap it for you. If the set you chose is no longer available in the size you need, we’ll see whether you’d like a different set or organise a refund or credit for you, no worries.
Returns
Can I return an item if I've had a change of heart?

How do I return an item?
To return or exchange a product, contact us to get the ball rolling.
Will I receive a credit or a refund?
If you return an item you don't love, you’ll automatically receive a credit, unless you’ve specifically requested a refund. If the set is returned within 30 days and unworn, we’d be happy to provide you with a refund.
Are there any items I can't return?
Free or gifted items, items you’ve worn, or items which have been in your possession for more than 30 days cannot be returned. (We asked the return warden and they’re pretty firm about the 30 day thing. Sorry.)

How do I take care of my Earthletica pieces?
Our pieces are pretty laid-back and love a little sun. Wash your Earthletica pieces in cold water on a short cycle, and dry flat in the sunshine when you can. Use a washing bag where possible to reduce microparticles from escaping into our oceans. They’re naughty like that.
How do I upcycle my Earthletica pieces?
Through Upparel, of course! Earn a tidy discount on future purchases when you donate old clothes to our recycling partner, Upparel. These waste-warriors turn unwanted textiles into all sorts of useful quality products, increasing the lifecycle of all textiles and reducing landfill forever.
Are Earthletica items eco-friendly?
From products to packaging, every piece we produce is made from recycled or renewable materials. Here’s how our products stack up:
Packaging:Carbon-neutral, recyclable paper printed on using soy inks and made according to responsible forestry practices.
Activewear:100% of the time we use recycled fabrics, but these are a combination of recycled and virgin synthetic fabrics, there's no current synthetic fabrics that are made completely with recycled materials.
Tees:Synthetic-free 100% organic cotton.
How is Earthletica different?
Perfection isn’t our game. Instead, Earthletica is driven by honesty, consistency and a growth mindset. You’ll know where we’re at, where we’re going and all the steps we’ll take to get there. We’re a work in progress, constantly striving for better.
Current state:
- Our high-performance activewear is made up of either recycled or natural materials – we don't use any materials that are 100% virgin plastic.
- Our leisurewear is made up of 100% natural materials that are synthetic-free.
- A limited range of sizing (6-14) that caters to our budding community.
- Activewear that’s proudly designed on Australian soil.
Future state:
- High-performance activewear made up of 100% recycled materials.
- A more inclusive range of sizing that accurately fits and caters to our growing community.
- Activewear that’s recycled right here in our backyard.
Wait, what are 100% recycled materials?
Fact:Almost all activewear is made from synthetic fabrics, derived from plastics.
Fact:There are no 100% recycled, high-performance fabrics currently available in our industry.
The difference is, we use the recycled plastic from old water bottles, fishing nets and upcycled activewear to make ours, instead of virgin plastic. We take from landfill, rather than adding to it.
It’s simple math, really.
What's the difference between recycled and sustainable materials?
Recycled activewear materials are made from itty-bitty chips of broken-down plastics that have been cleaned, melted, woven into fibres and refashioned into activewear fabrics.
Sustainable materials refer to fabrics made from renewable resources such as organic cotton or bamboo. Materials which are produced with respect for our resources (land, water, air) and are naturally biodegradable. It’s simple science, really.
Help! Nano particles are ruining my day, and our oceans.
Because our clothes are made of recycled plastics, it’s natural for some of them to rinse out in the wash. It’s not natural for these particles to end up in our waterways.
We recommend washing your Earthletica in cold water on a shorter cycle (look out for ‘eco’ on your machine). Using a wash bag can also help catch microfibres for easy disposal in your council bin.
