PFAS are persistent in the environment, taking centuries to break down. They spread through water, air, and soil, contaminating ecosystems and eventually entering the food chain. This isn't just a far-off concern—it’s happening right now, even in Australia’s pristine environments.

While those water-repellent features in clothing are great at keeping you dry, they often come with the hidden cost of PFAS. When washed, these chemicals can seep into water systems, contaminating natural resources and disrupting biodiversity.
